Lets just skip how late this posting is and jump right in to the thick of things.
When one thinks about the signs Gemini and Sagittarius the first thing that comes to mind is what I like to call, “mastery of the tongue”… Yes that description sounds really wrong out of context, but I request that you remove your head from the gutter. What I’m trying to say is that they have a way with words in the purest manipulative sense. Gemini’s are masters in using your words against you and Sagittarius is useful at making you believe their verbal vomit; I use the terms “verbal vomit” because…well they talk a lot. Both signs encompass mental dexterity and posses a physical activity threshold that seems un-human if they are at their optimum balance that is. If not they are ridiculously lazy and complete tyrants.
So shall I begin?
When I said earlier that the first thing that comes to mind about the two signs was their way with words I know that’s not the first thing that comes to mind. You were probably thinking Gemini equals twins and Sagittarius equals centaur right? Well yeah, Gemini is synonymous with twins so much so that the terms have become interchangeable, and Sagittarius is a dude with the lower body of a horse; but I suspected that if you’re reading this blog you probably had some knowledge of these facts. The whole thing about these two signs is duality, so much so that it’s right there in their astrological representations, (literal twins and a half man horse thing… with a bow and arrow…) thus interaction with these two feels like there’s always one more person in the conversation.
In the case of Gemini, you’re definitely dealing with two people, sometimes more than two but that only occurs when the Gemini is unfortunate enough to have Gemini as a moon or ascendant… basically a whole mess of people occupying one body, like something out of Sybil or United States of Tara, but more omnipresent. A Gemini is extremely adaptable, arguable because they have an extra man to do the brunt work. They are endlessly creative and complex with contradiction looming around every corner. Two-faced would be the best way to describe them, but not necessarily in a negative sense; I mean sometimes yes (Gemini loves gossip and scavenging information) but as long as you’re on the good side of at least one of the twins you should be safe. Recognizing a Gemini is a bit tricky, they are lively and demand attention in a childlike manner, and generally will never remain in one place for long, hence the problem in spotting one; you have to catch them first. Honestly you won’t spot a Gemini, you’ll stumble into one through casual conversation. Ever remember having a conversation with someone that was so enthralling that by the end you bought what he or she were selling? I suspect you encountered a Gemini. Ever have a conversation with someone that started off seemingly pointless and shifted into an intellectual debate that you probably lost…eh Gemini, they’re good at that right out of nowhere hit you with their intelligence quotient, (arguably high, but not Scorpio genius level). Get close enough to a Gemini, which is possible, and you’ll quickly learn how to determine which twin you are dealing with at any given moment. Seriously, it’s the same phenomenon that occurs with physical twins; eventually you’ll be able to tell them apart. With Gemini’s this is so awkwardly true that the person may even seem to physically look a little different when the other twin is at the reigns. Its my argument for how Johnny Depp manages to seem like a different person with every character he portrays, and ageless. Due to their all together youthfulness Gemini will never look their age, the same can be said for Capricorn who ages backwards and Sagittarius by default (because they are mythical creatures of course).
With Sagittarius, you a mythological creature that is man and beast together in such a way that it makes sense? I don’t know how exactly but their personality matches this concept. Look up anything about this sign and the first description you’re given is, “the archer” because the giant horse body “the archer” is attached to doesn’t exist… Last time I checked torso of a man body of a horse meant Centaur if you ever paid attention to Greek mythology, (incidentally they also ran around shooting bows and arrows…fascinating). Moving on, the Sagittarius is a generally optimistic, adventurous, intellect with an inability to control their restlessness. They apply these responses to all areas of life and as a result can tend to be a little unreliable, risk takers and truth manipulators, (yes that’s my way of not calling them bold faced liars…oh wait). Like the other humanoid signs, Gemini, Virgo, and Aquarius (occasionally there’s a guy holding the pitcher of water), they are concerned with the human condition and rely less on primal animal instinct. Well, one side of them does, I did mention that Sagittarius had a duality to them; this is where if I had an image of a Centaur I would be circling the horse body with my laser pointer. The other side of Sagittarius is the brutish individual quick to use the arrows they were born with. Something seems off about having a weapon as a part of your physical representation but then Scorpio gets a poisonous stinger so I guess I can’t say that its unheard of. The best way to spot a Sagittarius in the crowd is relatively easy compared to their Gemini counterparts; they are too brash and loud to go unnoticed. Ever see that one guy prancing around making a fool out of himself, drunkenly climbing onto the bar to perform a strip tease and no one remembers inviting him; Sagittarius. Have that one friend who every time you try to share a life story they miraculously have a similar story to share, (When I was six years old I was kidnapped by a relative…OMG when I was 4 years old I was kidnapped by a relative too)… Sagittarius. Got into an argument with someone and you swore you were winning and they responded by saying something so harsh you cried right there? Sagittarius for sure…or sometimes a Virgo (I really don’t know what’s up with them but if was a Virgo you weren’t winning any part of that argument. No seriously you weren’t they were just lulling you into a false sense of hope so they can hit you with how they really feel about you and destroy your sense of self worth).
Familiar faces under Sagittarius
Astrologers argue that Gemini and Sagittarius have the strongest complementary relationship; I argue that they require the least amount of explanation. They both have mutable energy qualities and want the same things out of life, like I mean exactly the same things out of life. Normally you get some variation but effectively the same result with other compliment or mirror signs, but with these two its basically the same goals with barely any difference in how they achieve them. For example, Scorpio will use their obsessive nature and sheer determination to get their dream job while a Taurus will persistently stronghold their way into a job they are comfortable with. There methods are similar and the end result is basically a job. With Gemini and Sagittarius is more like, depending on how dark their soul is, Gemini will either use lies, embellishment and intellect to achieve their dream job as a politician and a Sagittarius will either use lies, embellishment and intellect to achieve their dream job as a talk show host… (What? Same thing…especially during an election year.) I’ll just leave this conversation right here…
Until next time…
